China International Invitation Competition 2024(Welding, Additive Manufacturing) grandly opened in Weihai Wendeng Technician College on June 26th. This competition is jointly hosted by China Engineering Construction Welding Association and Weihai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and organized by Weihai Wendeng Technician College, whose purpose is to promote the training cooperation of high-skill talents and international communication.

This competition invited Mr. Ray Connolly, chief expert of the welding event of the 47th World Skill Competition, and many experts and competitors from Korea, Australia, Mongolia, Hong Kong, and other countries and regions.
Chinese representative team consists of participants assembled and trained for the 47th international competition, backup talents, relevant experts, and coaches. The competition will be conducted according to the technical rules of The 47th World Skills Competition. Therefore, this competition became a significant opportunity for each event to prepare for The 47th World Skills Competition in 2024.
As the sponsor for this competition, Aotai provided full-digital, network-based, and intelligent welding equipment, AMIG-350Pro Plus and ATIG-400PAC plus, which are independently developed by Aotai. These two welding equipment showed themselves at the 2nd Vocational Skills Competition of the People’s Republic of China for the first time and have been tested in many competitions. They became a reliable guarantee for competitors to get excellent grades.
