On the morning of December 17th, one of the series of activities of the Beijing-Cross-Strait Association communication festival – the 2023 Cross-Strait World Competition Welding and Building Metal Construction Project Exchange Contest, was grandly opened in Beijing. It is jointly hosted by the China Engineering Construction Welding Association, Beijing-Cross-Strait Civil Exchange Promotion Association, and China Steel Construction Society. Aotai honorably assisted the competition as the support unit of the competition.
At the opening ceremony, expert representatives from both sides of the Taiwan Strait took the stage to deliver speeches successively.
The 47th World Skills Competition will be held in Lyon, France in September 2024. In order to prepare well for the 47th World Skills Competition, the holder specially organized the exchange contest this time. All participants will communicate with each other about development and prospects, changes in technical rules, judging standards, training experience, cross-strait vocational education, and others. We hope to take this precious opportunity to let cross-strait contestants communicate about training methods, share preparing experience, deepen experts, coaches, and contestants’ understanding of the technical rules of the world skills competition, promote friendship between cross-strait experts and contestants, and try to obtain outstanding grades in the 47th world skills competition.

The 2023 Cross-Strait World Competition Welding and Building Metal Construction Project Exchange Contest is one of the significant activities among the cross-strait associations’ communication festivals. The cross-strait associations’ communication festival takes Association Linking▪communication promoting integration as the theme, which aims to discuss associations docking together, plan industrial interaction together, and promote fusion and development together. This reflects features of folk, professionalism, and friendship-making, which makes it a significant platform built jointly by folk associations to promote civil communication and cooperation. For the sake of mutual integration and promotion, Aotai will also participate more actively in various competitions and communication activities.
